About Nada
Nada is India's first social network for arranged marriages. Matches come through the people a family already knows: relatives, friends and the community matchmaker, a role the app calls Community Member. The app syncs a user's phone contacts, builds a who-knows-whom graph, and shows how two profiles connect. Your uncle knows her aunt. It has been live on the Play Store and the App Store since August 2026, and the full launch is on 11 October 2026, day one of Navratri. Nada Network Private Limited is a DPIIT-recognised deep tech startup working from Noida.
Why events
About 95 percent of marriages in India happen within one community, and a community gathering puts hundreds of families from one community in one place. Samaj sammelans, association functions and festival gatherings happen across Delhi NCR all year, and the winter wedding season is the busiest stretch. We go to them.
What you do at an event
- Stand with Nada at the stall or with the organising association, two to four of you per event, with a coordinator from the team.
- Tell families what Nada is in two minutes, in Hindi: matches through the people you know, and the app shows how two profiles connect.
- Help a parent or a matchmaker install the app, sign up with your referral code, and sync their contacts on their own phone. Their phone, their hands.
- Answer the questions people actually ask, and write down the ones you could not.
- Never take anyone's phone number down, on paper or on your phone. People join on their own phones, and the network forms from their own contacts, not from yours.
Before your first event you install the app, use it, and sit through a one-hour briefing with the coordinator.
Who we are looking for
- You are 18 or older, in Delhi NCR, and free on event days, which are mostly weekends and festival days.
- You are fluent in Hindi, at ease talking to elders about their family's rishta, and patient with a first-time smartphone user.
- Students, college society members, NCC cadets, National Service Scheme volunteers, Rotaract members and the youth wings of community associations are who we have in mind.
- We especially encourage women to apply, and every event team includes at least one woman. A family at a sammelan will talk to a young woman about their daughter's rishta in a way they will not talk to a young man.
What you get
- ₹500 a day, reimbursed for food and travel from the events budget.
- A volunteer certificate after the season, and a letter of recommendation for good work.
Volunteers are not staff. There is no target and no fixed hours, and the days you come are the days you choose.
The first events are after the 11 October launch, and the calendar is set with the coordinator each month.
Nada hires across gender, religion, community and background.
