Terms & Conditions

Version 1.0 · Last updated: 6 July 2026

These Terms are a binding agreement between you and Nada Network Private Limited for your use of the Nada app and website. Please read them together with our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle your data.

They apply whether you use Nada to find a partner (a "Partner Seeker") or to help others find a match (a "Broker").

1. Agreeing to these Terms

  • By creating an account or using Nada, you accept these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use Nada.
  • If we make a material change, we'll ask you to accept the new version the next time you open the app. Continuing to use Nada after that means you accept the change.
  • We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Nada app and website for their intended purpose, subject to these Terms. We may suspend or withdraw this licence if you break these Terms.

2. Definitions

  • Nada (also "we", "us", "our") — Nada Network Private Limited (CIN: U63120UW2026PTC249984). Where the context allows, references to Nada also include its affiliates and their respective directors, officers, employees, and agents.
  • Platform — the Nada mobile app, the Nada website, and related services.
  • User / you — any person who accesses or uses the Platform, whether registered or not.
  • Partner Seeker — a User looking for a marriage partner for themselves.
  • Broker — a User who helps people in their network find a match (a family member, friend, or community matchmaker).
  • Network — the people you're connected to on Nada, formed from the phone contacts you choose to sync and the contacts of those people, within connection limits that Nada sets and may change (see Section 5).
  • Interest request — a request from one Partner Seeker to connect with another.
  • Match / Connection — the state reached when two Partner Seekers mutually agree to connect; it enables in-app chat between them.
  • Content — anything you provide to the Platform, including profile information, photos, and messages.

3. Who can use Nada

  • You must be 18 or older, in every role. We block under-18 sign-ups.
  • You can legally marry. You confirm you're eligible to marry under the laws that apply to you.
  • Nada is for finding a marriage partner. It is not a casual-dating, hook-up, networking, or escort service. Using it for those purposes can get your account closed.
  • Be truthful. Your profile must be accurate. Lying about your age, marital status, or identity is grounds for a permanent ban.
  • One account per person. Don't create multiple accounts.
  • Register as a Broker if you matchmake for others. If you help other people find matches, sign up in the Broker role, not from a Partner Seeker account. And don't pose as someone you're not or impersonate anyone.
  • Keep your account secure. You're responsible for your phone, your one-time passwords, and everything done through your account. Don't share your login.

4. The two roles

You sign up as either a Partner Seeker (Section 6) or a Broker (Section 7); both are defined in Section 2. Your role is permanent and can't be switched. To change it, delete your account and sign up again. You can delete your account at any time.

5. How matching works

  • Your network comes from your contacts. The people Nada connects you with are built from the phone contacts you choose to sync, plus the contacts of the people you're connected to. How far your network reaches, and how closely-connected ("degree") others are shown to be, are limits Nada sets and may change as the platform grows. Syncing is optional. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle contact data and what syncing means for who can find you.
  • Interest requests are not binding. Sending or receiving interest creates no legal obligation. The other person can approve, reject, or ignore it.
  • Rejection is final. If someone rejects your interest request, you can't send them another one, and you won't see each other again on Nada.
  • Brokers help, but the Partner Seeker decides. A broker may evaluate a profile, recommend it, or pass a request along, but a Partner Seeker always has the final say on any match.
  • A broker's recommendation is not a guarantee. It is the broker's personal opinion, made in good faith, not a promise by Nada or the broker that a match is suitable, safe, or accurate.
  • No guaranteed outcomes. Nada provides the platform; finding and evaluating a partner is up to you.

6. If you are a Partner Seeker

By registering as a Partner Seeker, you agree that:

  • You consent to broker-assisted matchmaking. Brokers in your network, and brokers connected to you through other brokers, may view your profile and try to find matches for you, and may propose a match by introducing you to one of their contacts or asking another broker to connect you with their Partner Seeker. You can approve, reject, or ignore any of it.
  • Your profile may be shared between brokers to explore a possible match. When this happens, the Platform hides your phone number. The other broker sees your profile details (for example, your name, photos, age, religion, caste, gotra, education, occupation, and city).
  • You stay in control. You can disable any broker (which stops them seeing you or matching you), block any user, and report anyone, at any time, in Settings.
  • Keep your profile honest and appropriate. Brokers and potential matches rely on what you provide. Misrepresentation can lead to a ban (Section 3).
  • You must not misuse information you can see about other users. Don't copy, save, publish, or share another person's profile, photos, or contact details outside Nada.

7. If you are a Broker

You are an independent facilitator, not an employee, agent, or representative of Nada. You act in your personal capacity.

Each time you recommend or approve a match, you confirm, to the best of your knowledge, that the person you're vouching for:

  • is mentally and emotionally fit for a relationship;
  • has no criminal charges you're aware of;
  • is of legal marriageable age;
  • is legally single, divorced, or widowed (not currently married);
  • is someone you personally know.

You also agree that:

  • you are personally responsible for the accuracy of your recommendations, and you indemnify Nada against claims arising from false or misleading information you provide;
  • any fee you charge the families for your help is your own private arrangement with them, separate from the reward points you earn from Nada (Section 8), and Nada is not involved in it or responsible for it;
  • you understand Nada is only a platform and does not independently verify what you tell us about the people you recommend;
  • you may view profiles in your network only to help facilitate matches, and you must not copy, save, publish, or share anyone's profile, photos, or data outside Nada;
  • you must not privately contact a Partner Seeker who is in another broker's network; any approach must go through Nada's in-app match and follow-up channels.

Rewards don't change this. You may earn reward points for successful matches and referrals (Section 8), but those points are a promotional incentive, not a salary, wage, or commission, and they don't make you an employee or agent of Nada.

8. Reward points and gift cards

Nada is free to use. To encourage activity, you can earn reward points:

  • Brokers earn points for successfully facilitating matches and for referrals.
  • Partner Seekers earn points for referrals.
  • Points can be redeemed for gift cards.

Terms of the reward program:

  • Points are a promotional incentive only: no cash value, not a payment instrument, not transferable, and never exchangeable for cash.
  • We may add, reduce, change, or discontinue any reward, the points awarded for any action, or the value of points at redemption, at any time and at our discretion. If we reduce the redemption value of points, we'll give at least 30 days' notice, and you can redeem existing points at the earlier value during that period.
  • Redeeming a gift card requires a delivery email; the gift card is issued by a third-party provider, whose own terms apply to the card.
  • Anti-fraud: if we detect gaming (fake referrals, multiple accounts, referral loops, or similar), we may pause redemptions, forfeit your unredeemed points, and suspend your account. Gift cards already delivered won't be reversed, but the offending account(s) may be banned.
  • Points have no expiry at launch, but we may introduce one in future with notice.

9. Your content

  • You own your content: your profile information and photos.
  • You give us a limited licence to host, store, and display that content within Nada and only to facilitate matches in your network. We don't use your photos for marketing without your separate consent. The licence ends when you delete your account (subject to the limited retention in our Privacy Policy).
  • Family details: if your profile includes information or photos of family members, you confirm they've agreed to be included. If a family member asks us to remove their information, we may do so.
  • You're responsible for what you upload. You confirm you have the right to share it and that it doesn't break the law or infringe anyone's rights.

10. Rules of use

As an intermediary, we are required by law (IT Rules 2021, Rule 3(1)(b)) to tell you the kinds of content you must not host, upload, share, or transmit on the Platform. You agree not to post or share anything that:

  • belongs to another person and to which you have no right;
  • is defamatory, obscene, pornographic, paedophilic, invasive of another's privacy (including bodily privacy), insulting or harassing on the basis of gender, libellous, racially or ethnically objectionable, or relating to or encouraging money laundering or gambling, or is otherwise contrary to any law in force;
  • is harmful to a child;
  • infringes any patent, trademark, copyright, or other proprietary right;
  • violates any law for the time being in force;
  • deceives or misleads anyone about the origin of a message, or is knowingly false or misleading;
  • impersonates another person;
  • threatens the unity, integrity, defence, security, or sovereignty of India, friendly relations with foreign States, or public order, or incites any cognisable offence;
  • contains a virus or any code designed to interrupt, destroy, or limit the functionality of any computer resource;
  • is patently false or untrue and shared to mislead or harass for financial gain or to injure any person.

You also agree not to:

  • share non-consensual, morphed, or deepfake images of anyone (a criminal offence under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023);
  • harass, threaten, stalk, or scam any user;
  • share another user's contact details, photos, or messages outside Nada without their consent;
  • use bots, scraping, or any trick to bypass our network limits, rate limits, or anti-fraud controls;
  • game the rewards system (Section 8); or
  • advertise, recruit, or run any commercial activity other than genuine broker matchmaking.

Report problems promptly. If you come across a fake profile, fraud, or abuse, please report it in the app as soon as you notice it. Reporting quickly helps us act and protects other users.

11. Blocking, reporting, and safety

  • Block — you can block anyone. Blocking hides you from each other and stops all contact between you.
  • Report — you can report any user. Reports go to our team; multiple substantiated reports can lead to a ban.
  • Good faith — report honestly. Knowingly false or malicious reports can lead to action against you.

Child safety (zero tolerance for CSAE)

Nada is for adults aged 18 and over only. We have zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), including child sexual abuse material (CSAM), grooming, and the sexualisation of minors. This includes AI-generated, morphed, and deepfake imagery. You must not create, upload, share, request, or solicit any such content or conduct.

We block under-18 sign-ups at registration, and if we learn that an account belongs to someone under 18 we close it and delete the data. You can report a child-safety concern in the app (use Report on any profile or chat) or by email to our Grievance Officer at grievance@nadanetwork.com.

We remove violating content, ban offending accounts, and cooperate with law enforcement and report confirmed CSAM to the relevant authorities, consistent with the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act, 2012, the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the IT Rules, 2021, and the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023.

12. When we can suspend or close your account

We may suspend or permanently close your account if you:

  • misrepresent your identity, age, or marital status;
  • break any rule in Section 10;
  • game the rewards system; or
  • attract multiple substantiated reports, or are subject to a court or law-enforcement order.

Where we reasonably can, we'll give notice first. For serious cases (illegal content, threats, court orders) we may act immediately. A closed account loses access and any unredeemed points, and the person may not create a new account.

13. Important disclaimers and limits

  • Nada is an intermediary as defined in Section 2(1)(w) of the Information Technology Act, 2000, and claims the safe-harbour protection available to intermediaries under Section 79 of that Act and the IT Rules 2021. We connect users; we don't endorse or guarantee anyone. We act on takedown notices within 24 hours (non-consensual imagery) and 36 hours (court/government orders).
  • We don't run background checks or verify identity beyond the phone one-time password. We don't verify the truth of any profile, claim, or broker recommendation. Use your own judgement, do your own checks, and meet first in safe, public places.
  • You are responsible for your interactions with other users, on and off Nada. We don't monitor user conduct and aren't responsible for it.
  • Off Nada is at your own risk. Once a conversation moves to another app, calls, or in person, or money changes hands, it's outside the platform and outside our control. Never send money to someone you met here. Report fraud to the National Cyber Crime Portal (cybercrime.gov.in / 1930).
  • The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the maximum extent Indian law allows.
  • Our liability is limited. To the maximum extent permitted by Indian law, Nada's total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim (currently ₹0, since Nada is free). We're not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses. Nothing here limits liability that the law says cannot be limited (such as for our own gross negligence, wilful misconduct, or fraud).

14. You indemnify us

You agree to cover Nada's losses (including reasonable legal costs) arising from:

  • your breach of these Terms;
  • the content you upload;
  • your interactions with other users, on or off Nada; or
  • your breaking any law.

This doesn't apply to losses caused by Nada's own gross negligence, wilful misconduct, or fraud.

15. Closing your account

  • In the app: Settings → Delete Account (runs immediately).
  • If you no longer have the app: use the form at nadanetwork.com/delete-account (processed within 30 days).

What we delete and what we keep is explained in the Privacy Policy. Unredeemed reward points are forfeited on deletion.

16. Disputes and governing law

  • These Terms are governed by the laws of India.
  • The courts of Meerut, Uttar Pradesh have exclusive jurisdiction, without affecting your right, as a consumer, to approach the consumer forum where you live.
  • Before going to court, please contact our Grievance Officer (Section 18) and give us a fair chance to resolve the matter.
  • We do not require arbitration.

17. Other terms

  • If one part is unenforceable, the rest still applies.
  • Some sections survive account closure: those on your content (9), rewards (8), our disclaimers and limits (13), indemnity (14), disputes (16), and these other terms (17).
  • Things outside our control — we're not liable for outages caused by events beyond our reasonable control (natural disasters, network failures, third-party outages, government action).
  • Transfers — you can't transfer your account or these Terms to anyone. We may transfer our rights to a successor company (for example, in a merger or acquisition), and we'll tell you if that happens.
  • Whole agreement — these Terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and Nada. A delay in enforcing a term isn't a waiver of it.
  • Notices — we may reach you in the app, by email (if you've given one), or by updating the published Terms.
