About Nada

Nada is India's first social network for arranged marriages. Matches come through the people a family already knows: relatives, friends and the community matchmaker, a role the app calls Community Member. The app syncs a user's phone contacts, builds a who-knows-whom graph, and shows how two profiles connect. Your uncle knows her aunt. It has been live on the Play Store and the App Store since August 2026, and the full launch is on 11 October 2026, day one of Navratri. Nada Network Private Limited is a DPIIT-recognised deep tech startup working from Noida.

The work

The launch is on 11 October and the wedding season runs through the winter. This is a freelance engagement for the launch content sprint: the run-up, launch week and the weeks after it, then month to month if it goes well. You work with the person who runs Nada's social channels. She sets the brief and the shot list, you cut and design, she approves, and the founder signs off before anything goes out.

What you will make

  • Reels and short cuts from the launch film and from screen recordings of the app, with Hindi and English subtitles burned in.
  • The two tutorial videos, edited from the founder's voice recordings and screen captures.
  • Carousels and static posts in the brand's type and colours. You get the design tokens and the logo files.
  • Thumbnails, story frames and the occasional one-page PDF for WhatsApp.
  • Every export in the sizes and lengths each platform needs.

Screen recordings come from a demo build with seeded profiles, never from a real account, so no real user's data ever appears on screen.

What we are looking for

  • A reel or a portfolio: three pieces you edited or designed, with a line on what you did on each.
  • You cut to a script and a shot list, and you subtitle in Hindi without complaint.
  • You know the crop, the length and the safe zones for Instagram, Facebook, YouTube Shorts and WhatsApp status.
  • Consistency over flourish. The tenth carousel looks like the first.
  • You have about 10 hours a week through the launch season, and your own machine with the tools you use.

Tools. Whatever you already work in: CapCut, Premiere, DaVinci Resolve, Canva or Figma. The brand uses Fraunces and Manrope on a plum palette.

Good to have. Motion graphics. Hindi typography. Basic sound cleanup. Having edited for a page or a creator.

Pay

  • ₹1,200 for a batch of three finished videos and seven static posts, which is a typical month. Part batches are paid per piece: ₹260 a video and ₹60 a static post.
  • A piece is finished when it is approved and exported in every size its platform needs. Up to two rounds of changes are part of the piece.
  • You invoice at the end of the month and are paid within seven days.

What you get

  • Your work on Nada's channels during a launch, with credit, and the numbers on what worked: a published portfolio by the end of November.
  • A brief, a shot list and feedback on every piece from the person who runs the channels.
  • More work month to month if the first batch is good, and a reference.

How we hire

  1. Apply with the form and a reel or portfolio link. We watch it first.
  2. Shortlisted candidates get a brief by email: one carousel and one 30-second cut from footage we send. You have two days to send them back.
  3. If the pieces are selected, a call with the person who runs the channels, and a short final call with the founder.

Remote. Briefs and feedback by WhatsApp or email, and a short weekly call. Nothing is posted on a Nada account, or about Nada on a personal one, without approval.

Nada hires across gender, religion, community and background.
