About Nada
Nada is India's first social network for arranged marriages. Matches come through the people a family already knows: relatives, friends and the community matchmaker, a role the app calls Community Member. The app syncs a user's phone contacts, builds a who-knows-whom graph, and shows how two profiles connect. Your uncle knows her aunt. It has been live on the Play Store and the App Store since August 2026, and the full launch is on 11 October 2026, day one of Navratri. Nada Network Private Limited is a DPIIT-recognised deep tech startup working from Noida.
The work
Nada grows one community at a time, in the cities where that community lives. Deciding which community and which city comes next is research: who the families are, how they find a rishta today, what they pay the incumbents, and where they gather. You do that research and write it up so the team can act on it.
What you will do
- Map communities and cities. For each community on the list, where its families live in Delhi NCR and in the home districts, how big it is, and which associations, sammelans and festival gatherings bring it together through the year.
- Talk to families. Short conversations, in Hindi or English, with parents, partner seekers and matchmakers about how a rishta is found today and what goes wrong. You write up what you hear the same day.
- Study the competition. What the matrimony sites and the community services charge, claim and offer, with the source for every number.
- Write briefs. One or two pages each, with a recommendation, for the person deciding where Nada goes next. A brief that nobody can act on is not finished.
You work with the founder, who sets the questions. The findings go into the plan Nada runs on.
What we are looking for
- You can find things out: a phone call to an association, a search through a community's Facebook groups, a conversation with a family at a function.
- You write clearly in English, and you speak Hindi well enough to interview a parent in it.
- You keep a spreadsheet tidy and you cite your sources.
- You have 24 hours a week, Monday to Saturday, about four hours a day, for three months. A student, a recent graduate or anyone with the hours.
- You are in Delhi NCR, or you know a community there well. Remote otherwise.
Good to have. You have done a research project or a survey, for college or for work. You know one community's associations and events from the inside. You have read how arranged marriages are arranged in your own family, and can say what you noticed.
What you get
- ₹3,000 a month, an internship letter, and a certificate and a letter of recommendation at the end.
- Your research in the plan a live company runs on, with credit.
- Feedback on every brief from the founder.
- The internship extends beyond three months if the work is good.
How we hire
- Apply with the form and a link to anything you have researched or written, if you have it. We read it first.
- Shortlisted candidates get a brief by email: a two-page note on one community in Delhi NCR, from desk research alone. You have two days to send it back.
- If the note is selected, an interview with a member of the team about how we work.
- A short final call with the founder.
Remote, with the camera on for calls. A short written check-in every working day and a short team call on working days. Company accounts for every tool.
Nada hires across gender, religion, community and background.
